AR Rahman has once again made history by winning two Grammy Awards at the 52nd Grammy Award in Los Angeles. He won the awards for the best compilation soundtrack for motion picture category and for the best motion picture song for his score for Slumdog Millionaire. He has already won two Academy Awards, one Bafta and one Golden Globe for the same music score. On this very proud occasion, I would like to congratulate the Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman. The great man has brought Indian music to the world stage and has made us all Indians proud and happy. Great work Sir.
